S.T.A.R. System Aluminum Railing
This premier aluminum railing component system is easy to assemble and install. S.T.A.R. is an acronym for Snap Tight Aluminum Railing in reference to the method used to assemble this railing and fencing.
Features
- Strong – constructed of a high strength structural aluminum alloy 6005-T5 (minimum 38,000 p.s.i. tensile strength).
- Low maintenance – S.T.A.R. railing is finished with a polyester powder coating for maximum endurance and abrasion resistance. The finish requires virtually no maintenance, there is no need for yearly painting or sanding.
- Durable – because it won`t rust, aluminum railing is also well suited to installation at ground level in areas such as around patio slabs.
- Light weight – making it easy to transport and install.
- Versatile in design – choose from a variety of railing styles, picket styles and colours.
Laboratory tested to applicable building code standards, the component railing and fencing system is well received by consumers and builders who love the system`s design flexibility.
Available Styles
You can choose from two basic railing styles: Colonial or Classic.
 | The Colonial design features a heavy 2-3/4" or 4" post that extends through the top rail. Posts can be finished with flat cap or a ball cap which adds architectural detail. |
 | The Classic style has a continuous top with posts that fit beneath the top rail. |
Stair Rail | |
 | The patented hinged rail makes it easy to install stairway rails without custom rail construction. It allows instant adjustment to any stair angle. |
Available colours include white, almond, black, bronze, clay, sandalwood, and gray. Railing choices include glass panel rail, straight picket rail (available in two sizes), and curved picket rail. The look you desire, from traditional to contemporary, is easy to achieve with S.T.A.R. railing.

Aluminum Columns
Rigid manufacturing standards ensure invisible joints, superior weather resistance, and a dazzling finish. The baked on paint finish makes them maintenance free. Decorative aluminum columns are available in either a one-piece format, or in interlocking pieces, which can be installed around an existing post.
Standard Aluminum Columns
 | Standard round, fluted aluminum columns are available in a painted white finish and come in 6", 8", 10" or 12" diameters, in heights of 8` to 20`. These are available with standard bases and a variety of ornamental caps, allowing you to add distinctive architectural detail if desired. Standard square, fluted aluminum columns are available in primed or painted white finish and come in 4" 6", 8", or 10" widths, in heights up to 14`. These are available with standard bases and either a standard or a decorative cap. |
Special Order Aluminum Columns offer more design selection, sizes, and colours.
| Special order round, fluted aluminum columns are available in a painted finish in white, almond, or sandstone colours. They come in 6" to 24" diameters and in heights of 8` to 24`. They are available with standard bases and three cap options, allowing you to add varying degrees of ornamental detail. Special order square columns are available in fluted, smooth, or panel designs, suitable for contemporary to traditional architectural styles. The range of paint colours includes white, almond, or sandstone. Sizes include widths from 4" to 16", and up to 24` heights. These are available with standard bases and either a standard, or a decorative cap. |
Fiberglass Columns
 | Decorative fiberglass columns have a graceful tapered shape, giving them the look and feel of ancient granite columns. Ready to paint, these columns are available in either a fluted or smooth texture. They vary in size from 8" to 30" in diameter and 8` to 24` in height. Bases are a standard style, and there are five available options for cap styles, ranging from very simple to very ornate. It`s easy to find just the look you want to make a distinctive impression using these beautiful fiberglass columns. |
